When I lost my mother in my early thirties, I met with a financial advisor to help me honor her legacy. We talked about accounts and investments, but never about why that money mattered or what it represented to me. I left realizing something important: before you can create a financial strategy, you have to understand the story behind it.
Years later, after spending more than twenty five years in broadcast sales, I made the decision to build a career in financial services. My years in media taught me to understand the situation before proposing a solution, to ask thoughtful questions, and to think strategically about what comes next. Today, those same principles guide every conversation I have with my clients.
